Guided White Water Tubing
River Riders offers the only licensed Class III whitewater tubing trips in the Harpers Ferry area. The trip starts quietly with some slow water, but soon the excitement builds through Class I, II, and III whitewater. Splash over ledges, bounce through holes, and ride some wild wave trains in our specially designed whitewater tubes. With their low-profile design, and the direction of your guide, your tube puts you in the middle of the Potomac River’s whitewater action.
River Riders’ Guided Whitewater Tubing package includes whitewater-class life jacket, an , certified guide and round trip shuttle bus. This trip is for persons 10-12 years of age and older (depending on water levels).
Recommendations
All tubers should be in reasonably good health and physically active. Many who are reserved about taking the whitewater tubing trip on their own will find this trip more desirable. Those exceeding their ideal weight range by more than 35 lbs. may find this trip unsuitable. Trips last approximately two to two and a half hours. No previous experience is necessary. Reservations are required for these exciting trips with the most experienced tubing company in the Harpers Ferry area.
