Flat Water Tubing on the Shenandoah River
Looking for a relaxing, leisurely, "lazy river" float trip? Have smaller children that can't get on the white water?

Tubing On Your Own
One of our most popular adventures, Tubing on Your Own gives you the freedom to go wherever your tube takes you. It’s the Sunday Driving of our River Trips. The Tubing on Your Own package includes a tube, life jacket, free shuttle transportation, and parking.
On the flatwater trip you’ll float you down a section of the Shenandoah with current but no rapids. (Hey, water doesn’t have to white to be fun!) The run takes about 1.5 hours. Depending on water levels and trip times, you may float the section more than once. This trip is suitable for our younger guests (min age 4 years and 30 lbs). Trip times and locations will vary with water levels.
Full Day Tubing Trip
/ Combination trip
If your looking for a full day tubing adventure, try our flat-water / whitewater combination trip. Arrive at 10:30 for check-in and "Do the Doah" on our 11:30 flatwater trip. Stop at our shop for lunch (available summer weekends or bring your own), and take off to "Tube the Mac" on our 2:30 Potomac River Whitewater tubing trip for just $10 more.
Minimum age and maximum weights apply.
Recommendations
All tubers should be in reasonably good health and physically active. Those exceeding their ideal weight range by more than 35 lbs. may find this trip unsuitable. Be aware that this trip is "on your own" and there are no staff members present while on the river.
